Vita brevis

I found this qoute in a book I am reading called Indecision, which is not a self-help book for troubled makers of large decisions, but a novel about a guy who has a lot of trouble making any at all. It is apparently from a German philosopher called Otto Knittel, which I know nothing about, but may have to do some research on...

"Procrastination is our substitute for immortality. We behave as if we have no shortage of time."

How very true.
